Markexa LLC provides custom software development, web and mobile application development, API development and integration, IT consulting, and cloud-related professional services as described on this website or in a written statement of work, proposal, or master services agreement. Refund Policy
Effective date: March 2026
This Refund Policy describes how Markexa LLC handles refunds for software development, consulting, and related professional services.
Custom Services
Because our services are custom, time-based, and often started immediately after approval, payments for completed work, delivered milestones, and already allocated development time are generally non-refundable.
Deposits and Advance Payments
Project deposits or retainers are used to reserve team capacity and begin planning. Unless otherwise stated in a signed agreement, deposits are non-refundable once work has started. If work has not started, any refund eligibility is evaluated case by case.
Cancellation by Client
If you cancel a project, you are responsible for payment of all work performed and expenses incurred up to the cancellation date. Any remaining prepaid amount may be credited or refunded only if required by your written agreement.
Duplicate or Incorrect Charges
If you believe you were charged in error (for example, duplicate billing), contact us within seven (7) business days. Verified billing errors will be corrected promptly, including a refund where applicable.
No Guarantee of Specific Business Outcomes
Refunds are not provided based solely on business performance expectations (such as revenue, traffic, or user growth) unless explicitly guaranteed in a signed contract.
Third-Party Costs
Fees paid to third parties (such as hosting providers, domain registrars, software licenses, cloud services, or app stores) are subject to the third party's own refund rules and are generally non-refundable by us.
How to Request a Refund Review
Send your request to contact@markexadigital.com with your company name, invoice number, payment date, and reason for the request. We will review and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Agreement Controls
If there is any conflict between this website policy and a signed services agreement, the signed agreement controls for that project.
